I’ve been into goth and metal my whole life. I also travel a lot — sometimes for work, sometimes just to go somewhere new. At some point those two things started bleeding into each other.
This is where I write about it. The cities that have a good metal scene or just feel inherently dark and atmospheric. The neighborhoods worth wandering at night. The bars that play the right music. The castles, cemeteries, and cathedrals that made the trip worth taking.
Not a luxury travel blog. Not a bucket list. Just places that make sense if you’ve spent your life listening to the same music I have.
